Dr. Indira Rocha
Dr. Rocha has been practicing family and cosmetic dentistry in the Poughkeepsie area for the past 8 years, prior to which she served Manhattan and Long Island. Growing up in Washington DC and living in New York, she has enjoyed calling DC, NYC and Poughkeepsie her home. Dr. Rocha's passion for dentistry stems from her passion to help others make positive changes in their own lives thus empowering them to also make a positive impact on others and the world around them.
Dr. Rocha is an active mother who believes strongly in the power of education and growth. She likes to keep the office evolving and exploring better ways to self-improve, embrace change and to have fun while at it.
Dr. Rocha lives with her husband Dr. Naz, in Poughkeepsie, and her adorable daughter Elena and son Aliyar. She believes that one day she will have been driving long enough to feel comfortable switching lanes; and to one day understand why getting a plant to grow is harder for her than pulling teeth. She can often be found enjoying local fairs, grocery shopping, flower and plant hunting for the office, or spending time at the local libraries. Dr. Rocha loves to travel, so be sure to ask her about her favorite trips!

Dr. Naz Zahangir
Dr. Naz has been practicing cosmetic and surgical dentistry in Dutchess County alongside his wife for 8 years now. Living in only major cities (New York City and Dhaka) he embraced the Poughkeepsie area like a breath of fresh air…literally. Dr. Naz's dedication to his patient's well-being grows from his love to help others look and feel their best. He truly treats his patients like a member of his own family.
Dr. Naz loves the continual learning process of dentistry and is always excited about new dental technology and how it can make an even greater dental visit for his patients. He believes that life is not only about what we have, but how we can use what we have to help others and make a difference.
Dr. Naz, when not cooking new recipes at home with his daughter and son, loves taking them and his wife to enjoy the local fare at some of our amazing restaurants. Although Reading and watching football were his favorite pastime before starting a practice, he now adores teaching his children how to cut out pictures…...while watching football (or Daniel Tiger, whichever the season it is). Dr. Naz also loves philosophical books and fantasy football, so be sure to ask him which author is currently inspiring him and which players made the cut!
